Chassis Rotators,designed by Greenfield Products, are made to allow for the handling of straight and tapered container chassis. The Chassis Rotator has a load capacity of 10,000, or less, dependant on your truck's rating. The Chassis Rotator slides over the forks of a standard 30,000 lb. capacity lift truck. After clamping, the chassis may be lifted, inverted, or made upright.
There are two basic models currently under production. The HCR-2P has four clamping heads which pivot, and the HCR-3P has the two rear heads which pivot. The pivoting action makes adjustments that allows for more efficient clamping on a chassis. The rear clamping heads on both models slide back and forth to provide the clamping action, while the front heads are fixed in position. The HCR-4 utilizes two stationary front heads, combined with two sliding rear heads to complete its clamping action. This design further limits the potential for damage to the chassis when the rotator jaws clamp onto the chassis The Chassis Rotator is operated by means of a hydraulic valve assembly and an electronic module assembly. The Chassis Rotator is available in both 12V and 24V systems. Custom adaptations are available! |
